About freshmute



Freshmute is an experimental scheme which presented by a bunch of graphic designers who going to graduate soon.

//Under the absence of design ethos in this country,we questioned the value of our own existence.Therefore,we decided to create a brand,the meaning behind not only in merchandise trade,but we would like to take this opportunity to promote the spirit of us and let the community know more about us.

//What is the spirit of graphic designer? You will find out from our presentation.

//We belive that many graphic designers and artists are working with our common vision of idea.Therefore,we hope that through this project will serve to arouse the resonance of everyone.


Freshmute是由九位即将毕业的平面设计师所呈现的一项实验性计划 - 品牌创造实录.

//在这缺乏设计精神的国度里,我们质疑着自己的存在价值。进而,我们选择了创造品牌,背后的意义不仅仅于买卖商品如此简单,而是希望能借此向大众宣扬设计者的精神。目的就是要让这个社会知道我们,认识我们,以及了解我们。

//何谓设计者精神?此乃我们对社会以及身边所发生的事件所进行的反思, 再透过设计将我们的讯息传达给大众.

//我们相信许多的设计或艺术工作者都抱着与我们共同的理念;因此,我们希望可以透过此项计划引起大家的共鸣。

//然而, 整个过程将被一一记录在内, 当中包括了多媒体,录像,图像以及文字记录...经过编辑工序后将在我们五月的毕业展里呈现.


why Freshmute?

// Freshmute (noun) is taken from the pronounciation of Fresh Milk. Cream
is produced from fresh milk ~ this shows our desire to be the creme de la
creme of our society and of the future design industry.
"Mute"signifies our intentions to let our designs speak for itself. We
design not for design's sake, but to showcase our perceptions of the world
through our language - graphics.
